The exposition of Metal-Expo’2017, the 23d International Industrial Exhibition is in the middle of arranging. The whole range of ferrous and non-ferrous products, state-of-the-art equipment and solutions for the development of steel industry in the post-crisis period will be exhibited on November 14-17 in Moscow. According to Worldsteel, global steel use will grow 0.5% in 2017. The demand in Russia is also expected to grow 1.5%. Metal-Expo is expected to become the barometer of new market trends indicating possible growing points.
More than 550 companies from 32 world countries are expected to participate in the event while more than 30k professionals the majority of whom constitute the target audience of the forum: steel products end-users from the construction segment, heavy engineering industry, fuel and energy complex, transportation and logistics as well as steel trading segment will visit the show this year. Such a keen interest to the steel and steel-related industries can be easily explained: Metal-Expo is not just a platform to exhibit the achievements of the industry, but also an efficient tool for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation on supplies of high-quality steel products, the most state-of-the-art equipment, technologies and innovative solutions.
The main challenge for the majority of steel companies today is increasing efficiency and reducing costs. In 2017 a number of companies successfully carry out complex programs on reducing power consumption, commissioning new facilities, increasing efficiency of production, as well as substituting imports with competitive domestic analogues.
Leading market players and development-focused companies take preparation for the autumn steel forum very serious starting it well in advance. Thus, already in February’2017 more than 85% of the exhibition spaces in hall 75 were booked by key Metal-Expo exhibitors: leading Russian and international steel producers, tubes and pipes manufacturers, wire mesh producers, non-ferrous producers, final conversion products manufacturers, steel products suppliers, steel service centers, as well as construction companies, oil and gas companies, engineering companies etc.
Steel and engineering companies as well as steel structures manufacturers including MMK, TMK, Severstal, Mechel, OMK, NLMK, EVRAZ, Metalloinvest, IMH, UMMC, Chelpipe, KUMZ, Aluminium Metallurg Rus, OMZ Group, VSMPO-AVISMA and many more will arrange massive expositions at Metal-Expo’2017. The Metals Week in Moscow will be attended by a big number of company leaders and professionals from all over Russia and many world countries. More than 3.5k top managers and industry professional will be working on their stands at Metal-Expo’2017. Industry leaders including SMS Group, Ficep, Metalforme, ORMETO-YUMZ, Danieli, EZTM, Urals Engineering Center, Weber CoMechanics, VI-MENS, NKMZ, Energomashspetsstal, KAMI, Nordinkraft, Nakal, Nord-Drives, Reltec, Zlatoust Heavy Engineering Works, Litmashpribor, Uralkran etc. will present their solutions to the steel industry.
Since construction complex has always been one of the key users of steel products in Russia, through the years steel producers expand production and supplies of steel structures and other types of products for the construction segment. MetallStroyForum’2017 international exposition (part of Metal-Expo’2017) focuses on the interests of construction steel producers and suppliers and their end-users. The latest solutions will be presented by MMK Steel Service Center, Mechel, Severstal, SSAB, Metallinvest, Energomash, Energoprom, Steel Structures and many more.
MetallTransLogistik’2017 international exposition (part of Metal-Expo’2017) will focus on the most pressing problems and challenges of the logistics for the mining and metallurgical complex.
